Health & Safety Senior Specialist📍 Location: Dubai, UAE💰 Salary: Up to AED 17,000 per monthArabic-Speakers onlyWe’re hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced HSE professional to strengthen health, safety, and environmental standards across its operations, projects, sites, and facilities.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement HSE strategies, policies, and management plans aligned with the organization's ISO framework.Ensure compliance with applicable HSE regulations, legal requirements, ISO standards, and shareholder requirements.Establish and monitor HSE objectives, targets, and KPIs to drive continual improvement.Lead HSE inspections, audits, risk assessments, and environmental assessments.Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and manage corrective and preventive actions through to closure.Monitor environmental performance and implement risk mitigation and improvement initiatives.Deliver HSE training and awareness programmes, and coordinate external training requirements with HR.Develop and maintain emergency response plans and coordinate drills.Prepare HSE performance reports and maintain accurate documentation and records.Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders, and support departments in implementing HSE requirements.RequirementsExperience developing and implementing HSE policies, strategies, and management systems.Strong knowledge of applicable HSE regulations, legal requirements, and ISO standards.Experience conducting HSE audits, inspections, risk assessments, and environmental assessments.Ability to lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and oversee corrective actions.Experience delivering HSE training and coordinating emergency preparedness activities.Strong reporting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work across departments and promote a proactive HSE culture
