The Health Assistant will support medical and nursing staff with day-to-day clinical and administrative tasks, including preparing consultation rooms, assisting with basic clinical procedures, and organizing patient records and documentation. Responsibilities include welcoming and guiding patients, facilitating communication between patients and care teams, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during visits. The role also involves coordinating appointments, maintaining cleanliness and infection control standards, and supporting allied health services as required. The Health Assistant will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to help improve patient flow and overall service quality.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.Candidates should possess foundational Allied Health and Medicine-related knowledge to support clinical tasks under supervision and understand basic medical terminology.Candidates should possess solid Organization Skills to manage documentation, appointments, and workflow efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.Relevant diploma or certification in healthcare assistance, nursing support, or allied health is preferred.Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting, familiarity with infection control practices, and basic computer skills (EHR or patient management systems) are beneficial.Ability to work in a multicultural environment, maintain patient confidentiality, and demonstrate a patient-centered, ethical approach to care.
