Health Informatics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Health Informatics Specialist III to partner with clinical, business, and technology teams in the design, implementation, optimization, and adoption of enterprise clinical and non-clinical information systems. This role will focus on clinical workflow redesign, virtual care, telehealth, remote patient monitoring, process improvement, change management, and healthcare technology optimization.The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between Digital & Technology Services and clinical/operational stakeholders, leading requirements gathering, current- and future-state workflow design, gap analysis, testing, implementation planning, and operational readiness. Experience with Epic, ambulatory operations, digital patient engagement, virtual nursing, or hospital-at-home is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesBachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.5+ years of nursing, clinical, or healthcare operations experience.3+ years of healthcare informatics experience.Experience with clinical workflow redesign, requirements gathering, stakeholder facilitation, and healthcare operations.Experience with telehealth/virtual care and/or remote patient monitoring.Strong communication, facilitation, critical thinking, and change management skills.Demonstrated ability to mentor team members, document processes, and transfer knowledge to internal resources.Lead clinical and operational informatics projects involving workflow redesign and technology implementation.Partner with nursing, providers, allied health, business, and technology teams to gather requirements and develop future-state workflows.Support telehealth, virtual care, and remote patient monitoring initiatives.Facilitate stakeholder interviews, design sessions, workflow mapping, gap analysis, and process improvement activities.Support Epic build decisions, testing, implementation, adoption, and optimization.Develop governance recommendations, KPI/outcome frameworks, workflow standards, reusable templates, and lessons learned.Mentor internal EHI team members and transfer knowledge to ensure sustainable internal capability.Develop training materials and provide education and ongoing support to clinical and operational teams.Apply change management and quality improvement methodologies to reduce risk, improve workflows, and enhance care delivery.Collaborate with vendors and participate in vendor evaluations and Epic-related activities.
