Health Insurance manager

Role Description The Health Insurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for overseeing health insurance operations, including policy administration, claims management, and coordination with insurance providers and third-party administrators. The Health Insurance Manager reviews and negotiates health insurance plans, monitors compliance with local regulations, and ensures accurate enrollment and premium processing for employees or clients. The role involves analyzing data and reports to optimize coverage, control costs, and improve service quality, as well as resolving complex insurance issues and responding to inquiries. The Health Insurance Manager also collaborates with internal stakeholders, prepares documentation and guidelines, and provides training or guidance on health insurance processes and policies.QualificationsStrong knowledge of health insurance products, policy structures, claims processes, and regulatory requirements in the United Arab Emirates.Experience managing relationships with insurance providers, brokers, and third-party administrators, including negotiation and contract review.Ability to analyze insurance data, costs, and utilization trends using spreadsheets or reporting tools to support decision-making.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for policy administration, documentation, and compliance tracking.Effective communication skills for explaining coverage, addressing inquiries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Proven experience in health insurance, employee benefits, healthcare administration, or a related field; prior management or supervisory experience is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, or a related discipline; professional certifications in insurance or benefits management are a plus.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, adapt to a multicultural environment, and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
