Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Summary:The HSE Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements across the manufacturing facility. The role focuses on identifying and controlling workplace hazards, conducting continuous risk assessments, implementing safety procedures, and maintaining a zero-harm safety culture across the plant and shop floor.Key ResponsibilitiesEnforce company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements across the plant.Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential occupational and operational hazards.Monitor shop floor activities and ensure safe working practices are consistently followed.Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and practices and implement appropriate corrective actions.Develop and maintain the plant’s zero-harm safety framework and promote a strong safety culture.Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks across production areas.Ensure proper implementation and compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.Monitor machine safeguarding, hazardous energy controls, PPE compliance, and safe operating practices.Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences and recommend preventive measures.Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi Civil Defense requirements, occupational safety regulations, and environmental health and safety standards.Support emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, and emergency response activities.Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure safety requirements are integrated into daily operations.Provide safety awareness and training to employees, contractors, and shop floor personnel.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.Active NEBOSH certification is mandatory.Minimum 4 years of safety engineering experience within heavy manufacturing, industrial, or processing environments.Strong knowledge of LOTO, risk assessment, hazard identification, machine safety, and industrial safety practices.Strong knowledge of Saudi Civil Defense codes and applicable safety regulations.HSE ManagementRisk AssessmentHazard IdentificationWorkplace SafetySafety Inspections & AuditsIncident InvestigationLOTO (Lockout/Tagout)Machine SafetyPPE ComplianceEmergency ResponseFire SafetyToolbox TalksSafety TrainingEnvironmental ComplianceSaudi Civil Defense ComplianceOSHA StandardsNEBOSHCorrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)Safety Documentation & ReportingIndustrial SafetyContractor Safety Management
