Role Description The Health Safety Environment (HSE) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs across APS projects and facilities. This is a contract position based in Dammam with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work from home as operational needs allow. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety inspections, monitoring compliance with company and regulatory HSE policies, and identifying risks and mitigation measures. The HSE Supervisor will investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. The role also involves coordinating employee safety trainings, promoting a strong safety culture, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with project managers and site teams to ensure safe working conditions.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in Health & Safety and Occupational Health for managing workplace risk and promoting safe practices.Candidates should possess skills in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) for overseeing environmental compliance and integrated safety programs.Candidates should possess skills in Accident Investigation for analyzing incidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.Candidates should possess skills in Inspection for performing site audits, hazard assessments, and verifying adherence to HSE standards.Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in safety, engineering, or a related field; professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH)Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and industry best practices, with the ability to develop and implement safety procedures and training.Effective communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and foster a proactive safety culture.Proven experience in an HSE supervisory or similar role, preferably in contracting, construction, or industrial environments.
