This role ensures that patient care services, clinical workflows, and interdepartmental communications run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

What You'll Do

Coordinate and oversee daily clinical operations across departments to ensure seamless patient care deliverySchedule and manage patient appointments, admissions, discharges, and follow-up visitsServe as the primary point of contact between clinical staff, physicians, patients, and administrative teamsMonitor and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal clinical policiesMaintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA guidelinesAssist clinical staff with documentation, reporting, and data entry into Electronic Health Record (EHR) systemsCoordinate with insurance providers for pre-authorizations, verifications, and claims follow-upTrack and manage clinical inventory, medical supplies, and equipment maintenance schedulesSupport quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction programs, and clinical auditsPrepare operational reports, performance dashboards, and summaries for senior managementOnboard, orient, and support new clinical staff and volunteersIdentify and escalate clinical or operational issues to the appropriate department head promptlyQUALIFICATIONSEducationBachelor's or Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field (required)Master's degree holders are strongly preferred and encouraged to applyCertification in Healthcare Management, Clinical Research, or a related field such as CHDA, CPHQ, or RHIA (preferred)Fresh Master's degree holders with relevant internship or clinical rotation experience are welcome to applyExperience2–5 years of hands-on experience in clinical coordination, healthcare administration, or a related clinical roleDirect experience working in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility settingExperience coordinating between clinical staff, physicians, and administrative departmentsFamiliarity with patient scheduling, admissions, discharge planning, and follow-up processesPrior experience with quality improvement or clinical compliance programs is a plusTechnical SkillsProficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems — Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similarStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookFamiliarity with medical billing software and insurance verification portalsKnowledge of HIPAA compliance, patient confidentiality, and data security standardsUnderstanding of medical terminology and clinical workflowsExperience with CTMS or healthcare management systems (preferred)Bonus QualificationsExperience with Joint Commission, NCQA, or URAC accreditation standardsKnowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding, or medical billing basicsExperience with Medicaid, Medicare, or managed care coordinationFamiliarity with value-based care models and population health managementPhysicalPrimarily on-site work within a hospital or clinical facilityAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periodsComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environmentOccasional light lifting up to 20 lbsMust comply with facility infection control and safety protocols including PPE when required
