ACGME HALM Fellowship OpportunityTidalHealth invites applications for its ACGME-accredited Healthcare Administration, Leadership and Management (HALM) Fellowship in Salisbury, Maryland.This one-year fellowship is designed for physicians seeking to develop the leadership, administrative, and management skills necessary to become effective physician executives and healthcare leaders. Fellows continue clinical practice in their primary specialty approximately 25% of the time while completing immersive training in healthcare administration.Annual Salary: $76,573Under the mentorship of physician executives and health system leaders, fellows gain practical experience in:

• Healthcare administration and operations
• Strategic planning and organizational leadership
• Finance and resource management
• Quality improvement and patient safety
• Population health and care delivery models
• Governance and executive decision-making
• Change management and system transformationFellows participate in executive leadership meetings, serve on organizational committees, complete a structured didactic curriculum, lead strategic initiatives, and develop a capstone project focused on organizational improvement.Eligibility RequirementsApplicants must:
• Hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Have completed an ACGME-accredited residency, AOA-approved residency, ACGME-International Advanced Specialty Accreditation program, or RCPSC- or CFPC-accredited residency program in Canada
• Hold a master’s degree in business administration or another field related to healthcare administration, leadership, and management
• Be eligible for a Maryland medical license
• Be eligible for clinical privileges at TidalHealth within their specialty
• Demonstrate an interest in healthcare leadership, administration, management, quality improvement, or organizational performanceLeadership experience during residency or clinical practice is preferred.
