IMPORTANT LOCATION REQUIREMENT: This is a hybrid position based in Hoboken, NJ. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of our Hoboken office and be able to regularly commute to the office as required. This is not a remote position, and IHA does not provide or reimburse travel expenses for commuting to the office.Company Description Founded in 2015, Insight Health Analytics, Inc. (IHA) is an analytical consulting firm that focuses on helping specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers improve patient access services. We do this by supporting our clients with data analysis, operational modeling and financial analysis. We help clarify the relationships between patient access challenges, operational processes and business results. This enables our clients to improve strategic planning, meet business objectives, and ensure that patients receive the medicines they need.Role Description A Healthcare Business Data Analyst analyzes operational data from patient support processes to measure business performance, deliver business insights, and inform the strategic decisions of business leaders as those leaders work to improve the effectiveness of patient support programs.Responsibilities:• Analyze business and operational data in Microsoft Excel, including demand projections, costs, staffing information, and capacity models.• Perform advanced data analysis to investigate and solve business problems using tools such as R, Python, and SQL.• Perform quantitative analysis, develop mathematical business models, and conduct research on improving patient access services for specialty pharmaceutical products.• Gather and organize information about challenges in patient access to be solved or the procedures in patient onboarding and adherence support to be improved.• Integrate multiple information sources (primary, secondary and analytical research) to inform complex problems.• Develop professional, client-ready presentations and data visualizations using tools such as PowerPoint, Power BI, and Tableau.• Structure and develop client deliverables in PowerPoint, including “telling the story” with supporting analysis in a clear and effective manner.• Develop an understanding of the specialty pharmaceutical industry as well as the healthcare sector more broadly, including technologies, regulatory requirements, and business dynamics.• Contribute to internal company activities and advance IHA’s capabilities.Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree required in a discipline with analytic and quantitative coursework for business such as business analytics, quantitative economics, management information systems or a closely related field of study.0-3 years of relevant work experience performing business relevant analyses of operational data.Prior experience with statistical analysis software or common machine learning programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, or Stata (R preferred but not required, exposure to and enthusiasm for analytical programming required).Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPointHigh motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative.Comfortable and highly competent at working independently including structuring and planning work, prioritizing needs and managing own time.Self-starter who is able to solve problems independently including performing the necessary research to learn new skills that are needed to solve problems or deliver value for clients.Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset.Analytic problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative outlook.Client service orientation.To apply, please send resume and cover letter to Careers@InsightHA.com.Insight Health Analytics is an Equal Opportunity employer.
