We are seeking a PMP-certified Healthcare IT & Operations Project Specialist to manage and support operational improvement and technology projects across the organization.The role will act as the main link between healthcare operations, clinical teams, IT departments, and external vendors. The successful candidate will oversee projects from requirements gathering and planning through implementation, training, go-live and performance evaluation.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage healthcare operations and IT projects from initiation through completion.Develop project scopes, implementation plans, timelines, resource requirements and progress reports.Gather and document business, operational and system requirements from relevant departments.Review existing healthcare workflows, identify operational gaps and recommend practical improvements.Coordinate the implementation and enhancement of healthcare systems such as HIS, EMR, ERP, CRM, appointment, billing and reporting platforms.Work closely with clinical, administrative, financial and technical teams to ensure project requirements are properly understood and delivered.Coordinate with software providers, consultants and external vendors while monitoring their performance and deliverables.Maintain project risk registers, action plans, issue logs and change-control documentation.Support system testing, user acceptance testing, data migration, staff training and go-live activities.Monitor project performance, operational KPIs, system adoption and post-implementation results.Prepare clear project updates and reports for senior management.Ensure projects comply with applicable healthcare regulations, data-privacy requirements, information-security standards and internal policies.Support process automation, workflow standardization and continuous operational improvement across departments or branches.Identify project risks and delays early and escalate critical issues with clear recommended actions.Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, including requirements, approvals, meeting records and lessons learned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Active PMP certification is mandatory.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare operations, healthcare IT, or project management.Previous experience with hospitals, medical centers, clinics or other healthcare organizations is strongly preferred.Practical understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical or administrative systems.Experience managing system implementation, digital-transformation or operational-improvement projects.Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile and hybrid project-management methodologies.Proficiency in project-management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Excel or Power BI.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.Required CompetenciesProject planning and executionHealthcare workflow analysisIT system implementationBusiness-requirements documentationVendor and stakeholder managementRisk and change managementProcess improvement and automationData analysis and performance reportingProblem-solving and decision-makingStrong organization and follow-up skills
