Role Description The Healthcare Specialist role at Pi-Consultancy is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Healthcare Specialist will support clinical teams by providing medical expertise, assisting in patient assessment and care coordination, and collaborating with emergency medical technicians and other healthcare professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing clinical protocols, participating in training sessions, guiding the implementation of best practices, and documenting observations and recommendations. The role involves direct interaction with healthcare staff, clear communication of clinical guidance, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. The Healthcare Specialist is expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare standards, follow organizational procedures, and contribute to a safe, efficient care environment.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in medicine and healthcare to support clinical decision-making and patient care.Candidates should possess EMT-related skills to understand emergency response, basic life support, and pre-hospital care workflows.Candidates should possess strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey clinical information clearly.Candidates should possess training skills to facilitate workshops, mentor staff, and support continuous professional development.Relevant qualifications such as a degree in medicine, nursing, allied health, or a related field are preferred.Experience in clinical settings, emergency care, or healthcare consulting is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to dynamic healthcare environments is required.Knowledge of local healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and quality improvement practices is an advantage.
