Daily responsibilities include conducting health checks, responding to medical incidents, coordinating with local healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role involves delivering training on first aid, emergency response, and general health and safety practices aligned with project activities. The Healthcare Specialist will collaborate with project teams to assess health risks in field operations and support the development of health protocols that ensure safe and sustainable working conditions.QualificationsMedical and healthcare skills: strong foundation in Medicine and Healthcare, with the ability to perform clinical assessments and manage routine and emergency cases.Emergency response skills: EMT or equivalent emergency medical training, with experience in on-site and field-based medical support.Training and education skills: ability to design and deliver Training sessions on first aid, emergency procedures, and health awareness.Communication skills: clear and effective Communication with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and local healthcare providers.Relevant education: degree or diploma in medicine, nursing, paramedical sciences, or a related healthcare field; valid professional certifications where applicable.Experience: prior experience in field-based healthcare, occupational health, or community health programs is highly beneficial.Additional competencies: strong ethical standards, attention to detail in documentation, familiarity with health and safety regulations, and ability to work in diverse, cross-cultural environments.
