The engineer will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork and piping layouts, and integration with building services. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed design drawings and specifications, coordinating with project managers and other engineering disciplines, reviewing shop drawings, and supporting installation teams to ensure design compliance. The role also involves performing site visits, participating in design reviews, optimizing systems for energy efficiency and sustainability, and troubleshooting design-related issues during project execution. The engineer will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions aligned with local regulations and industry standards.QualificationsStrong HVAC Design and HVAC engineering skills, including system layout, equipment selection, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.Mechanical Engineering fundamentals and applied Calculations skills, such as heat load, airflow, static pressure, and energy efficiency analysis.Knowledge of Plumbing systems related to HVAC projects, including chilled water, condensate drainage, and related piping coordination.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.Proficiency with HVAC design software and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with local UAE building regulations.Experience in designing HVAC systems for residential, commercial, or industrial buildings in a consulting or contracting environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and teamwork abilities, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams and site personnel.Ability to work on-site in Dubai and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Professional certifications in HVAC or energy efficiency (e.g., LEED, ASHRAE-related credentials) are an advantage.
