قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجThe HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems across the facility. The role ensures uninterrupted HVAC operations, optimum equipment performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety standards through a structured Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.Key ResponsibilitiesPreventive Maintenance (Primary Responsibility)Execute the approved Preventive Maintenance (PM) plan for all HVAC equipment according to the annual maintenance schedule.Prepare monthly PM schedules to ensure 100% coverage of HVAC assets.Maintain detailed PM records, checklists, service reports, and maintenance history.Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, filter cleaning, coil cleaning, and system performance checks.Identify potential equipment failures during PM activities and recommend corrective actions before breakdowns occur.Ensure PM compliance and report completion status to the HVAC Lead.Maintain an updated asset register and PM tracker for all HVAC equipment.Corrective MaintenanceDiagnose and repair faults in split ACs, ventilation systems, and exhaust systems.Respond promptly to HVAC complaints and emergency breakdowns.Replace defective components including compressors, motors, contactors, capacitors, sensors, thermostats, valves, and electrical controls.Perform refrigerant charging, leak detection, pressure testing, and vacuuming.Installation & CommissioningInstall new HVAC systems and associated electrical/control components.Commission newly installed equipment and verify operational performance.Support HVAC modification and expansion projects.Monitoring & Energy EfficiencyMonitor system performance to ensure efficient operation.Recommend energy-saving initiatives to improve HVAC efficiency.Record operating parameters including temperature, pressure, current, and voltage.Identify abnormal equipment behavior and report findings.DocumentationMaintain daily maintenance logs and service reports.Update equipment history cards and maintenance documentation.Record spare parts consumption and inventory requirements.Submit weekly and monthly maintenance reports.Safety & ComplianceFollow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.Ensure compliance with electrical and HVAC safety standards.Report safety hazards immediately.CoordinationCoordinate with Administration, Electrical, and IT teams during maintenance activities.Support facility shutdowns and after-hours maintenance when required.Required QualificationsDiploma/DAE in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.HVAC certification is preferred.Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC maintenance.Technical SkillsPreventive Maintenance Planning and Execution.HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostics.Refrigerant handling and leak testing.Split systems.Electrical control circuits and motors.HVAC tools and testing instruments.MS Excel for PM tracking and maintenance reporting.CompetenciesTechnical troubleshooting skills.Planning and organization.Attention to detail.Problem-solving ability.Teamwork and communication.Time management.Commitment to safety and quality.
