Heavy Equipment Technician

Role Description The Heavy Equipment Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The technician will inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment and vehicles, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, conducting troubleshooting and testing, and completing necessary repairs or part replacements. The role also involves maintaining accurate service records, following manufacturer specifications and safety standards, and coordinating with supervisors and other team members to prioritize work orders. The technician will be expected to keep the workspace organized, use tools and diagnostic equipment responsibly, and support continuous improvement in maintenance practices.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Heavy Equipment handling and Equipment Maintenance.Candidates should possess solid capabilities in Equipment Repair and Vehicle Maintenance.Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Relevant technical diploma or certification in automotive, mechanical, or heavy equipment technology is preferred.Proven experience as a heavy equipment or vehicle technician, ideally within construction, industrial, or fleet environments.Knowledge of safety regulations, manufacturer service guidelines, and proper use of diagnostic tools.Ability to read technical manuals, interpret schematics, and maintain clear maintenance documentation.Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
