MOMAC delivers major overhauls, high-end technical interventions, and full-fleet maintenance solutions that match or exceed original manufacturer standards at competitive costs, driving maximum asset reliability for our global clients.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Heavy Equipment & Overhaul Specialist to lead complex maintenance interventions, diagnostic troubleshooting, and major component rebuilds. In this high-level technical role, you will be responsible for executing and overseeing critical corrective/preventive maintenance, major overhauls (engines, hydraulic pumps, transmissions), and commissioning heavy machinery for large-scale operations.Beyond hands-on field and workshop execution, you will mentor junior technicians, enforce strict OEM-level quality standards, and interface with clients and project planners to optimize equipment performance and turnaround times. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Saudi Arabia.Key ResponsibilitiesMajor Overhauls & Component Rebuilds: Lead end-to-end rebuilds and overhauls of critical systems (Caterpillar, Komatsu, etc.), including diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, valves, final drives, and transmissions.Advanced Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Perform root-cause analysis on complex mechanical, electronic, and high-pressure hydraulic failures using advanced diagnostic tooling and technical schematics.Testing & Commissioning: Execute rigorous post-repair testing, bench testing, calibration, and final commissioning to guarantee OEM-matching performance and safety standards.Technical Leadership & Quality Assurance: Supervise on-site/workshop procedures, mentor mid-level/junior technicians, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and maintain strict quality control on all completed jobs.Project Documentation & Client Support: Generate detailed technical reports, rebuild progress tracking, and parts requirements, providing technical advisory to fleet managers and operations teams.Requirements & QualificationsExperience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance, major overhauls, and field service within mining, construction, or industrial sectors.OEM Certifications: Official training or certifications from major OEMs (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Cummins, Rexroth) highly valued.Mastery in Hydraulics & Electromechanics: Proven expertise in reading complex hydraulic schematics, electrical diagrams, and operating high-end diagnostic software.Leadership & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated capability to lead technical interventions, make autonomous high-stakes decisions under tight operational schedules, and guide team members.Language & Tools: Proficiency in reading technical manuals in English; familiarity with digital service tools and overhaul progress reporting.Education: Technical degree or higher in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Automotive Heavy Equipment Engineering.Work Ethic & Safety: In-depth knowledge of industrial safety standards (HSE), meticulous attention to detail, and willingness to work flexible shifts based on project demands.
