Apply & track with Apply EdgeKnown for its commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and technical excellence, the organisation continues to invest in its people, facilities, and capabilities, offering employees the opportunity to work within a collaborative, quality-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Role:Operate the EC135 helicopter safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures, aviation regulations, and operational requirements.Conduct pre-flight planning, aircraft inspections, and preparation activities to ensure mission readiness.Perform flight operations in support of assigned missions, including medical, emergency response, and specialist aviation tasks as required.Maintain a high standard of airmanship, decision-making, and situational awareness throughout all phases of flight.Work closely with medical teams, technical crew members, engineers, and operational personnel to ensure safe and effective mission execution.Complete all required aircraft documentation, flight records, and operational reports accurately and within required timescales.Ensure compliance with EASA regulations, company operating procedures, safety management systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Monitor aircraft performance, systems, and weather conditions to support safe operational decisions.Participate in emergency response procedures, training exercises, and operational briefings as required.Support aircraft ground operations, including aircraft positioning, securing, and preparation for subsequent missions.Communicate effectively with Air Traffic Control, operational teams, and other aviation stakeholders.Identify and report hazards, technical issues, and safety concerns through the appropriate reporting channels.Maintain currency, qualifications, and professional standards required for EC135 operations.Participate in recurrent training, simulator sessions, assessments, and competency checks as required.Promote a strong safety culture and contribute to continuous improvement within the organisation.Candidate RequirementsEssential:EASA ATPL(H) or CPL(H)EC135 Type Rating preferredRight to Work In Malta/EUMinimum 1,000 flight hoursMinimum 100 hours of night flight experienceIR (H) desiredWhy Work with JMC Aviation?At JMC Aviation, we specialise in aviation recruitment across engineering services and training to airlines, MROs and OEMs, leasing and asset management companies, and component overhaul organisations.
