Through practical field expertise and a professional approach, Muqawimat Al-Tashyed delivers efficient, reliable, and value-driven services across all projects.Role Description The High Voltage Transmission Line Technician (OHTL) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Riyadh Region. The technician will perform installation, inspection, and maintenance of overhead transmission lines, including tower assembly, stringing, sagging, and tensioning of conductors according to technical specifications and safety standards. Daily tasks include carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing faults, repairing equipment and components, and supporting commissioning and periodic testing activities. The role involves working at heights, operating and assisting with specialized tools and equipment, maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection records, and complying with company safety procedures and applicable regulations. The technician will collaborate closely with site supervisors, engineers, and team members to ensure reliable operation of transmission assets and timely completion of project milestones.Qualifications Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair of high voltage overhead transmission line components and related equipment.Experience in Preventive Maintenance practices, including routine inspections, condition monitoring, and timely interventions to minimize downtime.Knowledge of Quality Control procedures to ensure work is performed in accordance with technical standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.Effective Communication skills for coordinating with site teams, reporting technical issues, and following instructions and safety guidelines.Previous experience as an OHTL or high voltage transmission line technician, lineman, or similar field role is highly preferred.Familiarity with working at heights, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to electrical safety and permit-to-work systems.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, line route plans, and equipment manuals.Relevant technical diploma or vocational certification in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and remote project sites.Basic computer skills for completing reports, maintenance records, and documentation.
