Job DescriptionAs a Test Architect/Senior Test Engineer, you would be responsible for architecting test framework for Autonomous L4 vehicle HIL components using dSPACE HIL (PHS/Scalexio). Utilize existing work and quickly expand the capability of vehicle HIL to include all required components to meet L4 testing using Radar, Camera, and other sensors based on the vehicle architecture. Responsible to coordinate and work with offshore team in solving HIL configuration issues to ensure zero down time. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for development and implementation of dSPACE HIL Framework for ECU testing. Trouble shoot and resolve issues quickly Implement a complete test automation framework in dSPACE HIL using Control Desk, Automation Desk, Configuration Desk, Model Desk, Motion Desk Coordinate with onsite/offshore team members, plan and execute future test scenarios and test cases Perform required duties to maintain the HIL system with zero downtime Coordinate with customer based on necessity including weekly progress meeting QualificationsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Science/Automotive Engineering Experience using hardware and software tools from dSPACE Hands-on experience in using dSPACE HIL (PHS/Scalexio) and related Toolchains (Control Desk/Automation Desk/Configuration Desk/ASM/Model Desk/Motion Desk) for Realtime ECU validation Hands-on experience in using MathWorks Toolchains (Matlab/Simulink/State flow/Embedded Coder/Simulink Test) for software development and testing Well versed with all Automotive communication protocols (CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet), and hands-on experience in configuring these protocols on HIL Ability to understand Automotive Electrical architectures and configure HIL based on these Hands-on experience in using network and ECU calibration tools like Vector CANalyser, Vector CANoe, and Vector hardware, ETAS INCA Good knowledge of diagnostic protocols like UDS and ability to analyze and correct Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) Hand-on experience in Scenario-based test generation/testing using CarMaker/CarSim/dSPACE ASM/other tools Hands-on experience in harness development and ECU integration with HIL platform Desirable: Plant model development experience in Powertrain, Body, Chassis domains
