The technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of home appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, ovens, and small household devices. Daily tasks include performing technical inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, replacing parts, testing equipment for safe operation, and documenting work performed. The role also involves advising customers on proper appliance use, maintenance best practices, and coordinating with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely service and high customer satisfaction. The technician is expected to follow safety standards, keep work areas organized, and stay updated on new appliance technologies and manufacturer guidelines.Qualifications Strong technical skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining common home appliances, including mechanical and electrical components.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.Knowledge of safety procedures and local regulations related to electrical work and appliance installation.Effective communication and customer service skills to explain issues, solutions, and maintenance tips in clear, accessible language.Good time management, organization, and problem-solving skills to handle multiple service requests and prioritize tasks.Previous experience as a home appliances technician, maintenance technician, or similar role in electronics or retail service is highly beneficial.Vocational training, technical certification, or diploma in electrical, electronics, or appliance repair is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and installing appliances.
