Its solutions are designed to be user-friendly while enhancing comfort, energy efficiency, and control for residents.Role Description The Home Automation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role involves designing, configuring, and integrating home automation systems for lighting, climate, security, and entertainment in residential properties. The engineer will perform on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of smart devices and control systems, ensuring seamless operation and interoperability. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, optimizing system performance, and providing clear guidance to clients on system use and maintenance. The role also requires collaborating with designers, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects on schedule and according to technical and safety standards.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Automation for designing and integrating smart home systems.Candidates should possess solid capabilities in Robotics and Process Control for configuring, programming, and optimizing automated devices and controllers.Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing, resolving, and preventing technical issues in installed systems.Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.Experience with home automation platforms, communication protocols (e.g., KNX, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi), and IoT devices is highly beneficial.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects on-site.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.Commitment to safety standards, quality workmanship, and client-focused service.
