The Home Care Nurse provides direct nursing care to patients in their homes, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans. Daily responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, managing wound care, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and educating patients and families on treatment and self-care. The nurse ensures safe and hygienic environments, maintains accurate documentation, and follows established clinical protocols and regulatory requirements. The role also involves supporting patients’ comfort, dignity, and independence through compassionate, culturally sensitive care.Qualifications Strong Nursing skills with proven experience in clinical practice and patient assessment.Foundational knowledge of Medicine to understand diagnoses, treatments, and clinical guidelines.Practical experience in Home Care, including providing care in non-hospital settings and adapting to varied home environments.Excellent Patient Care abilities, focusing on safety, comfort, communication, and holistic support.Competence in Wound Care, including dressing changes, infection prevention, and monitoring healing progress.Valid nursing license and eligibility to practice in Abu Dhabi (or willingness to obtain required licensure).Experience in home health or community nursing is preferred.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to patient homes as required.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.Basic computer skills for electronic medical records and reporting.
