The role will also involve supporting quality improvement initiatives, supervising medical teams, educating patients and families, and ensuring high standards of clinical care and patient safety.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides high-quality medical care to patients in the home healthcare setting.Conducts comprehensive medical assessments and develops individualized treatment and care plans.Manages patients with complex, chronic, and multiple medical conditions.Provides consultative services and clinical guidance to the home healthcare team.Coordinates care with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation specialists, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary team members.Monitors patients' clinical progress and adjusts treatment plans as required.Provides appropriate follow-up and continuity of care.Educates patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, medications, and ongoing care needs.Identifies and manages acute changes in patients' clinical conditions and determines the need for escalation or hospital referral.Supervises and supports physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in home care.Participates in quality improvement, patient safety, and service development initiatives.Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.Follows all hospital and home healthcare-related policies and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation & CertificationGraduate from a recognized medical school of good standing.Completion of required postgraduate training in a relevant medical specialty.American Board Certification or equivalent recognized qualification.UK: CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) or CCST (Certificate of Completion of Specialty Training).Australia: FRACP or equivalent recognized specialist qualification, where applicable.A qualification recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) is required.DataFlow verification is required.Professional ExperienceMinimum 5 years of post-board/post-fellowship experience in a relevant medical specialty.Demonstrated experience managing complex and chronic medical patients.Experience in home healthcare, community medicine, geriatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, palliative care, or other relevant areas is highly desirable.Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and care coordination skills.Experience in quality improvement, patient safety, clinical education, or service development is an advantage.Age below 58 years.LanguageProficiency in English.Arabic proficiency is preferred.ReferencesPositive professional references attesting to the candidate's clinical expertise, professional experience, communication skills, and ethical conduct.
