Homeroom Teacher

A homeroom teacher for Dubai based school will have core duties including managing daily attendance, delivering multi-subject core instruction, fostering a positive social and emotional learning environment, and serving as the primary communication link for student progress between the school and parents.Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Assessment: Plan, prepare, and execute engaging daily lessons across core subjects, track academic metrics, and evaluate performance.Classroom Management: Maintain an orderly, safe, and inclusive environment while establishing productive daily routines.Student Welfare & Pastoral Care: Monitor social growth, behavior, and attendance records, offering individual guidance and character mentoring.Parent Communication: Act as the first point of contact, holding regular updates, conferences, and reporting progress updates.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a relevant specialty field; a teaching license or certification (such as PGCE or QTS) is widely expected.Competencies: Strong classroom management, multi-subject adaptability, organization, empathy, and active listening skillsExperience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of teaching experience in a classroom setting; familiarity with specific curricula (e.g., IB PYP) is often required for international roles.Key Skills: Strong classroom management, cross-cultural communication, curriculum differentiation, conflict resolution, and proficiency in educational technology.Job Location: Riyadh & Jeddah, KSA
