Honeywell DCS Service Engineer

Descon Engineering Limited is looking for an experienced Honeywell DCS Service Engineer to support commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and technical support activities for Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (DCS) within Oil & Gas facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, test, commission, and troubleshoot Honeywell DCS systems.Support Honeywell Experion PKS Servers, Operator Stations, and C300 Controllers.Execute system upgrades, software updates, Mod Packs, and configuration changes.Perform loop checks, functional testing, startup support, and system validation.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and control system issues.Support virtualized environments and system infrastructure.Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and project teams during site activities.Prepare technical reports and commissioning documentation.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or a related Engineering discipline.3–4 years of experience in Industrial Automation and Control Systems.Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion PKS systems.Strong Oil & Gas industry experience.Proven experience in site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Technical SkillsHoneywell Experion PKS R530 or higherC300 ControllersHoneywell Servers & Operator StationsDVM R800 SeriesAlarm Management SystemsPHD HistorianVMware EnvironmentIndustrial Networks and System IntegrationPreferred QualificationsHoneywell product certifications and training.Offshore commissioning experience.Site safety and access certifications.
