Horticulturist

Qualifications & TrainingTwo to three years of plant care experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel, resort, or other high profile public venue with interior landscape features.Degree or formal education in Botany, Horticulture, Arboriculture, Ornamental Horticulture (preferred)Knowledge of ornamental plant requirements, including use of insecticides, fertilizers, and gardening tools.Understanding of integrated pest management (IPM) principles and safety procedures for handling chemicals.Ability to review plant care practices and adapt to vessel operations, strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
