Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob description:Hiring: Palliative Care Specialist (Dubai, UAE)German Integrative Medical Centre, in collaboration with Tadawi Hospital, is seeking a qualified and compassionate Palliative Care Specialist to join its multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai.This position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality palliative and supportive care within a collaborative clinical environment focused on patient comfort, symptom management, quality of life, and comprehensive care planning.Position OverviewThe Palliative Care Specialist will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of patients requiring palliative and supportive medical care in accordance with established clinical guidelines and best practices.The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and manage patients requiring palliative and supportive care services.Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical best practices.Provide symptom management and supportive treatment aimed at improving patient comfort and quality of life.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.Participate in case discussions, clinical meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, supportive care options, and ongoing management.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with DHA and UAE healthcare regulations.Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and professional standards of practice.RequirementsMBBS, MD, or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter of Palliative Care SpecialistDemonstrated experience or training in palliative, supportive, or chronic care management.Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and patient-centered care.Preferred QualificationsExperience in hospital-based palliative care services.Participation in research, clinical audits, or academic activities.Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Additional training or certification related to palliative or supportive care.What We OfferCompetitive remuneration package.Opportunity to work within a respected multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Professional development and continuing medical education opportunities.Collaborative and supportive clinical team.Modern healthcare facilities and resources.Opportunity to contribute to the growth of palliative care services.
