Hospital Director

Role Description The Hospital Director at Badan Restorasi Gambut dan Mangrove is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management of an affiliated hospital or health facility within the organization’s scope of work. The role includes leading clinical and non-clinical operations, ensuring quality of care, safety, and compliance with health regulations, and aligning hospital services with BRGM’s broader public welfare and environmental programs. Day-to-day activities involve supervising medical and administrative teams, managing budgets and resource allocation, monitoring performance indicators, and coordinating with government agencies and partner organizations. The Hospital Director will also focus on enhancing patient experience, optimizing service delivery, and supporting staff training and development to maintain high professional standards.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Medicine-related expertise, with experience in clinical governance, healthcare delivery, or hospital administration.Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to oversee hospital workflows, health services planning, and quality improvement initiatives.Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to manage financial planning, cost control, and efficient allocation of hospital resources.Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to ensure a positive, equitable, and patient-centered experience for all service users.Candidates should possess Training skills to support staff development, continuous learning, and implementation of best practices.Relevant additional qualifications include prior experience in hospital or healthcare leadership, knowledge of public health systems, and familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards.Advanced degree in medicine, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field is preferred, along with strong communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management abilities.
