QualificationD.Pharm or B.Pharm (Mandatory)Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration1–3 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacyKnowledge of NABH standards, drug storage, and inventory management Job SummaryThe Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring safe medication practices, maintaining pharmacy inventory, and providing medication-related guidance to patients and healthcare professionals in compliance with hospital policies and NABH standards. Key ResponsibilitiesDispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.Verify prescriptions for completeness and appropriateness before dispensing.Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects.Maintain proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory guidelines.Monitor pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry dates.Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.Ensure compliance with NABH standards, statutory regulations, and hospital policies.Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff to support safe medication management.Participate in regular stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
