IKAYI focuses on delivering high-quality service, stylish ambiance, and a welcoming environment for both local patrons and visitors.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Host/Hostess role based at IKAYI in Lucknow. The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing reservations and walk-ins, and coordinating seating to ensure smooth table turnover and a positive flow in the dining area. Daily tasks include answering phone calls, handling inquiries, maintaining an accurate waitlist, and communicating guest needs and special requests to the serving and bar teams. The role also involves keeping the entrance and reception area organized, providing menu and venue information, and supporting overall guest satisfaction by responding promptly and professionally to any concerns. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed is expected.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming and inclusive experience for all guests.Candidates should possess effective Communication and Phone Etiquette skills to handle inquiries, coordinate with team members, and manage guest interactions.Candidates should possess Reservations management skills, including maintaining booking systems and organizing seating plans.Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant front-of-house roles is beneficial.Ability to remain calm under pressure, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Professional appearance and demeanor, with a focus on punctuality and reliability.Basic computer or POS system familiarity is an advantage.Fluency in English and Hindi is preferred.
