Hostess

Role Description The Hostess at Amaya is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This role is responsible for greeting guests warmly upon arrival, managing reservations and walk-ins, and coordinating seating to optimize guest flow and table turns. The Host/Hostess responds to phone and online inquiries, provides accurate information about the restaurant, and assists with special requests and guest preferences. Daily tasks include maintaining an organized front desk, updating reservation systems, supporting the service team with guest communication, and ensuring a polished and welcoming atmosphere at the entrance and lounge areas. The role requires consistent professional presentation and the ability to remain calm and attentive during peak service periods.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and a guest-centric approach to hospitality.should possess Reservations and basic front-of-house administrative skills, including use of digital booking systems.should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both in-person and in writing.should possess Customer Service skills with a focus on handling inquiries, feedback, and complaints gracefully.should possess professional Phone Etiquette and the ability to manage calls efficiently and courteously.Previous experience in high-end restaurants, hotels, or luxury hospitality environments is highly beneficial.Ability to stand for extended periods, manage a fast-paced environment, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Proficiency in English is required; additional languages commonly spoken in Dubai are an advantage.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a polished, professional appearance aligned with brand standards.
