Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Kathmandu. The host is responsible for welcoming guests, managing waiting lists, and escorting guests to their tables in a friendly, professional manner. Day-to-day tasks include handling reservations, answering phone inquiries, coordinating with the serving team to ensure smooth table turnover, and maintaining an organized and inviting reception area. The host also provides information about menu offerings and restaurant services, responds to guest concerns, and upholds Roadhouse’s standards for hospitality, cleanliness, and safety. This role involves working closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an excellent guest experience from arrival to departure.Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all guests.Experience managing reservations and waitlists, including basic use of reservation systems or logs.Clear, professional communication skills for in-person interactions and coordination with team members.Professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries, bookings, and guest requests.Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods, with attention to detail and time management.Previous experience in hospitality or front-of-house roles is an advantage.Basic English and Nepali language skills; additional languages are a plus.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and commitment to Roadhouse’s values of integrity, inclusivity, and service excellence.
