Hakubo by Chinawhite values collaborative, guest-focused individuals who contribute positively to the overall atmosphere and reputation of the venue.Role Description The Host/Hostess is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, responsible for welcoming guests and managing the flow of reservations and walk-ins. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests upon arrival, managing the reservation system, coordinating seating with the service team, and responding to phone and in-person inquiries. The role involves maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor, providing accurate information about the venue and offerings, and ensuring guests are seated efficiently and comfortably. The Host/Hostess also supports the team with guest feedback, special requests, and maintaining an organized reception area.QualificationsStrong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities, with a friendly and professional attitude toward guests.Experience handling reservations and managing seating plans in a restaurant, lounge, or similar hospitality environment.Clear and confident communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with good phone etiquette.Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and time management skills.Prior experience in hospitality or front-of-house roles; experience in upscale or fine-dining venues is an advantage.Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly used in Dubai are a plus.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.Professional appearance and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality guest experiences.
