HR-Egypt is hiring a Restaurant Hostess for a large multi-branch restaurant group in Cairo.PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING. Applications that do not meet ALL of the must-have requirements below will not be reviewed.MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS- Minimum 2 years of recent experience working specifically as a Hostess / Host in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue. Experience in retail, call centre, reception, or general administration does NOT qualify for this role.- Good command of spoken and written English (you will greet international guests daily).- Currently living in Cairo or Giza and able to commute to branches on a daily basis.- Available to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.- Well-groomed, presentable appearance with a professional and welcoming manner.ABOUT THE ROLEYou will be the first point of contact for our guests. The role focuses on delivering a warm welcome, managing reservations and seating efficiently, and creating an excellent first impression that reflects the standards of our brand. You will work closely with the floor and service teams to ensure smooth guest flow, minimise waiting times, and maintain a consistently high level of hospitality across the branch.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a positive first impression.- Manage the reservation system and maintain an accurate daily booking schedule.- Escort guests to their tables and present menus professionally.- Organise seating arrangements and manage the waiting list during peak hours.- Coordinate with waiters, captains, and the floor manager to ensure smooth guest flow.- Handle incoming phone calls and respond to reservation and general enquiries.- Monitor the entrance and reception area to keep it clean, tidy, and well-presented.- Receive guest feedback and escalate comments or complaints to management.- Bid farewell to guests on departure and encourage repeat visits.- Support branch operations and adhere to company grooming and service standards.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and organised during peak hours.- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.- Team-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for hospitality.HOW TO APPLYApply through this posting with an up-to-date CV that clearly shows your hostess experience, the restaurant or venue names, and your exact employment dates.
