The Host is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing waitlists, and coordinating seating to ensure a smooth flow of service. Day-to-day tasks include handling reservations, answering phone inquiries, providing accurate information about menus and services, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at the entrance and reception areas. The role also involves supporting the service team by communicating guest needs, assisting with special requests, and helping resolve minor guest concerns in a professional manner. The Host works closely with colleagues and management to uphold Roadhouse’s service standards and enhance the overall guest experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to create a welcoming and positive guest experience.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills and professional Phone Etiquette to handle inquiries and coordinate with the team.Candidates should possess experience or aptitude in managing Reservations and guest seating arrangements in a busy hospitality environment.Candidates should possess reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and courteous during peak hours.Candidates should possess basic computer skills, familiarity with reservation or POS systems (preferred), and the ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or guest-facing roles is an advantage; fluency in English and Nepali is highly beneficial.
