Kairos Merit aims to reduce noise in hospitality hiring, enabling faster, more confident hiring decisions while upholding high standards of service quality, time efficiency, and reputation.Role Description The Host/Hostess Server role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, working within premium hospitality environments supported by Kairos Merit Staffing Solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating, and ensuring an efficient flow between the front-of-house and service teams. The role also involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, responding to guest requests, and providing attentive, courteous customer service throughout the dining experience. The Host/Hostess Server will coordinate closely with kitchen and bar staff, maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area, and support smooth operations during peak service hours. This position requires adherence to venue service standards, professional appearance, and a consistent focus on delivering a high-quality guest experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.Candidates should demonstrate solid Teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house staff.Candidates should have basic technical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with C++ or other systems is beneficial but not required.Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service, particularly in host/hostess or server roles, is highly beneficial.Ability to stand for extended periods, manage high-traffic environments, and remain calm under pressure.Professional grooming, reliable time management, and a customer-focused mindset are essential.Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are an advantage.
