Not just by balancing the books, but by partnering with the business, supporting great decisions and making sure every department has the information they need to succeed.We're looking for a Hotel Accountant who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of building Australia's very first Treehouse Hotel from the ground up.The RoleReporting to the Director of Finance, you'll play a key role in establishing the hotel's finance function during pre-opening before transitioning into day-to-day hotel operations.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety. One day you may be setting up supplier accounts and helping establish financial processes, the next you're supporting month-end reporting, reconciling accounts or working alongside department leaders to ensure everything is running smoothly.You'll be involved in building the finance operation from day one and become an integral part of a small, collaborative leadership team where everyone pitches in to support each other.What You'll Be DoingManaging the hotel's Accounts Payable functionSupporting Accounts Receivable, invoicing and debtor managementBank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliationsAssisting with month-end reporting and financial closeSupporting budgeting and forecasting processesSupplier account management and procurement administrationAssisting with payroll preparation and financial administrationMaintaining strong financial controls and complianceSupporting the Director of Finance with reporting and commercial analysisAssisting with the implementation of finance systems and processes during pre-openingBuilding strong relationships across every department within the hotelWhat We're Looking ForYou're organised, proactive and enjoy being part of a team.You understand that great finance isn't just about numbers—it's about supporting the operation and helping others succeed.Ideally you'll bring:Previous accounting or finance experience within hotels or hospitalityStrong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableExperience assisting with month-end reportingExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong Excel and financial systems experienceThe ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environmentA collaborative, positive and solutions-focused attitudePrevious pre-opening experience will be highly regarded but isn't essentialWhy Treehouse?Because no two days are the same.You'll have the rare opportunity to help build the finance function from the very beginning and then see it come to life as the hotel opens its doors.You'll work alongside a supportive Director of Finance and an energetic leadership team who believe success comes from collaboration, curiosity and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.Most importantly, you'll be joining one of Australia's most anticipated hotel openings and helping create a hotel that will quickly become part of Adelaide's social fabric.If you're looking for more than a traditional accounting role—if you want to help build something special—we'd love to hear from you.Come and grow with us at Treehouse Adelaide.
