This role oversees all aspects of operations, sales, revenue generation, guest satisfaction, team engagement, and asset management while ensuring compliance with Marriott brand standards and Aimbridge Hospitality operating procedures.The ideal candidate is a highly visible and hands-on hospitality leader who can drive commercial performance, inspire high-performing teams, elevate the guest experience, and build strong relationships with ownership, associates, guests, and community partners.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipProvide overall leadership and direction for hotel operations.Develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement.Lead hotel performance against all financial, operational, and brand benchmarks.Create a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.Partner with ownership and corporate leadership to achieve business objectives and maximize asset value.Financial ManagementDevelop, manage, and achieve annual operating and capital budgets.Drive revenue optimization through collaboration with Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing teams.Monitor labor, expenses, and operational efficiencies to achieve GOP and EBITDA targets.Analyze financial performance and implement strategic initiatives to improve profitability.Forecast revenues and expenses accurately and maintain strong fiscal controls.Operations ExcellenceEnsure exceptional execution across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Housekeeping, Sales, Events, Finance, and Human Resources.Maintain high standards of cleanliness, product quality, safety, and guest service.Lead daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews to ensure business goals are achieved.Champion Marriott and Aimbridge brand standards throughout all areas of the hotel.Oversee property maintenance, renovation initiatives, and preventative maintenance programs.Sales & Revenue LeadershipPartner closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to drive group, transient, and catering revenue.Participate in key customer meetings, site visits, sales presentations, and community events.Build strong relationships with local organizations, tourism partners, and major corporate accounts.Identify new business opportunities and market trends to increase market share.Talent & CultureRecruit, develop, and retain high-performing leaders and associates.Foster an inclusive, engaging, and service-driven workplace culture.Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and succession planning initiatives.Ensure team members receive proper training and professional development opportunities.Lead employee engagement efforts that improve retention and workplace satisfaction.Guest ExperienceMaintain strong visibility throughout the hotel and remain actively involved in guest interactions.Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.Drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction scores and online reputation metrics.Ensure delivery of memorable guest experiences consistent with Marriott expectations.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.Maintain compliance with Marriott brand standards and Aimbridge Hospitality policies.Lead safety, security, and emergency preparedness efforts.Uphold ethical business practices and operational integrity.QualificationsMinimum 7+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience, including senior operations or General Manager experience.Experience leading full-service hotels with multiple revenue streams.Strong knowledge of hotel operations, sales, revenue management, and financial reporting.Proven success improving operational performance and profitability.Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and P&L accountability.Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.PreferredMarriott brand experience strongly preferred.Experience leading convention, group-focused, or resort-style properties.Multi-department leadership experience across Rooms and Food & Beverage operations.Experience working with ownership groups and asset managers.Why Join Aimbridge Hospitality?Lead a premier Marriott-branded hotel in one of the world's top travel destinations.Join the largest third-party hotel management company in the world.Work with a high-performing leadership team dedicated to operational excellence.Access industry-leading development, training, and career advancement opportunities.Competitive compensation package including bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.Aimbridge Hospitality is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAimbridge Hospitality is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all associates are respected, supported, and empowered to succeed.
