With laid-back, modern style and amenities like outdoor Weber® grilling stations and local area guidance through TowneMap®, TownePlace Suites creates a relaxed, home-like environment for longer stays.Role Description The Hotel Housekeeping role at TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Livonia, MI is a full-time, on-site position responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming guest suites and public areas. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces; making beds and changing linens; restocking amenities and supplies; and ensuring rooms are prepared according to brand standards. The role also involves reporting maintenance issues, handling laundry, and following health, safety, and hygiene protocols. Team members are expected to provide courteous, attentive service, respect guest privacy, and collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to support a positive guest experience.Qualifications Ability to perform thorough cleaning, sanitizing, and housekeeping tasks, including handling laundry and maintaining guest rooms and public areas.Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills to meet cleaning schedules and quality standards.Commitment to health, safety, and hygiene practices, including proper use of cleaning products and equipment.Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other hotel departments and respond to guest needs professionally.Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move carts and supplies throughout a work shift.Previous hotel or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and follow training is essential.Dependable work ethic, punctuality, and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.
