For more information, visit http://www.nestaway.com.Role Description The House Acquisition Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, focused on identifying, acquiring, and onboarding residential properties into Nestaway’s managed rental portfolio. In this role, the individual engages with homeowners to understand their needs, presents Nestaway’s value proposition, negotiates terms, and secures property acquisition agreements. The House Acquisition Manager coordinates property inspections, ensures accurate documentation, and collaborates with internal teams to plan furnishing, pricing, and listing strategies. Daily activities include tracking acquisition pipelines, analyzing local rental trends, building relationships with brokers and partners, and ensuring smooth handover of acquired properties to operations teams. The role requires consistent field work, market visits, and in-person meetings to expand Nestaway’s footprint in key neighborhoods across Mumbai.Qualifications Strong property acquisition and real estate domain skills, including lead generation, homeowner engagement, negotiation, and closing agreements.Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and understanding of local rental trends to support pricing and acquisition decisions.Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills to build trust with homeowners, brokers, and partners.Solid organizational and documentation skills, including handling contracts, compliance requirements, and coordination with internal teams.Ability to work on-site, conduct regular field visits, and manage multiple properties and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in real estate, property management, sales, or business development is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Comfort with using digital tools and CRM systems for tracking leads, reporting, and collaboration.
