Role Description The House Manager and Tutor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing daily household operations while providing educational support to children or learners in the home. Day-to-day duties include coordinating household schedules, supervising domestic staff or service providers, maintaining cleanliness and organization standards, and ensuring that household supplies and maintenance needs are met. The role also involves planning and delivering tutoring sessions, assisting with homework, supporting exam preparation, and creating a structured learning environment tailored to the learner’s needs. The House Manager and Tutor will communicate regularly with family members about household matters and academic progress, handle basic administrative tasks, and uphold a safe, respectful, and supportive home atmosphere.Qualifications Strong household management abilities, including organization, time management, and coordination of daily routines and services.Proven tutoring or teaching experience, with the capacity to support school curriculum, homework completion, and exam preparation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and effectively with children, adults, and service providers.High level of reliability, discretion, and professionalism, including the ability to handle confidential information and family matters sensitively.Fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage in a multicultural setting.Basic administrative and technology skills, such as maintaining schedules, using digital tools for learning, and managing household records.Prior experience in a private household, hospitality, childcare, or education setting is preferred.Relevant post-secondary education or training in education, childcare, or a related field is beneficial; a clean background check and references are required.
