The property values reliability, cleanliness, and collaboration among staff to maintain high housekeeping and guest satisfaction standards.Role Description The Housekeeper role is a full-time, on-site position based at Best Western Plus Gold Poppy Inn in Tucson, AZ. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing linens and amenities, and ensuring all surfaces meet cleanliness standards. Daily tasks include handling laundry such as washing, drying, and folding linens, reporting maintenance issues, and following safety and sanitation guidelines. The role also involves interacting with guests in a professional, courteous manner, responding to requests, and coordinating with the front desk and other hotel staff to ensure rooms are ready on time. Housekeepers are expected to follow established procedures, attend trainings as needed, and consistently uphold brand standards for presentation and hygiene.Qualifications Ability to perform housekeeping and Laundry tasks efficiently, including cleaning rooms, handling linens, and maintaining public areas.Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact courteously with guests and collaborate with team members.Effective Organization Skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, and follow checklists and procedures.Willingness to participate in Training and learn hotel standards, safety protocols, and cleaning techniques.Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness and hygiene standards.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.Reliability, punctuality, and a professional, respectful attitude in a diverse work environment.
