Team members are supported with structured training, clear policies, and opportunities for development within the Marriott network.Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Housekeeping Associate role based at Courtyard by Marriott, Tirupati, with primary on-site responsibilities and limited work-from-home tasks as applicable (such as training or administrative updates). The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to brand standards, including making beds, replenishing linens and amenities, and ensuring all fixtures and surfaces are sanitized. The role involves handling laundry items, organizing supplies and carts, reporting maintenance issues, and following safety and hygiene protocols. The Housekeeping Associate is expected to interact courteously with guests, respond to requests in a timely manner, and coordinate with other hotel departments to support smooth daily operations.Qualifications Ability to manage room cleaning, linen handling, and basic laundry operations with attention to detail and hygiene standards.Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, supervisors, and team members.Demonstrated customer service abilities, including polite guest interaction, responsiveness to requests, and a service-oriented attitude.Solid organization skills to maintain cleaning schedules, manage supplies, and prioritize tasks efficiently.Experience in or capacity for training, including learning standard operating procedures and supporting peer learning when needed.Basic understanding of safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in hospitality environments.Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and bending or reaching during cleaning activities.Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or a related hospitality role is preferred but not mandatory.Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
