Housekeeping Attendant

JOB SCOPE:To perform various cleaning activities in any of the business outlets. Always maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the premises and equipment as assigned. Handle complaints/requests with professionalism and patience. Maintain and keep records of inventory. Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all lounge areas, including seating zones, dining areas, restrooms, showers, family suites, smoking rooms, and staff areas. Ensure garbage is properly segregated and disposed of in designated waste collection areas following airport environmental and recycling guidelines. Follow HACCP and Municipality food safety-related cleaning and handling standards when cleaning F&B areas, equipment, or surfaces. Operate housekeeping machines and equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, extractors) safely and efficiently. Handle and use cleaning chemicals responsibly following SDS) and company safety procedures. Assist in receiving, organizing, and storing housekeeping supplies, including chemicals, janitorial items, tissue products, and cleaning tools. Submit soiled uniforms, towels, linens, and mops to the laundry store, receive cleaned items, and maintain accurate records to ensure proper tracking and count accuracy. Replenish guest amenities such as tissue, soap, towels, shower amenities, and consumables in all required areas. Ensure restrooms and shower rooms are cleaned and sanitized frequently, maintaining a high level of hygiene and guest readiness. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of high-touch surfaces, furniture, windows, and fixtures throughout the lounge. Follow all SOPs, safety, hygiene, and quality standards as required by lounge and airport regulations. Complete assigned cleaning tasks accurately and in accordance with departmental work schedules, checklists, and operational requirements. Maintain and update records, trackers, or logs (e.g., cleaning checklists, restroom checks, chemical usage logs) to ensure proper documentation and traceability. Report any maintenance or repair needs (e.g., lighting, plumbing, furniture, equipment issues) immediately to the Supervisor or Duty Manager. Assist the lounge team during high-traffic periods by ensuring quick turnaround of seats, tables, shower areas, and resting zones. Support special cleaning assignments such as deep cleaning, upholstery cleaning, carpet extraction, and polishing as scheduled. Uphold guest privacy, professionalism, and service etiquette when working around guests in occupied areas. Follow proper lost and found procedures when items are discovered during cleaning. Ensure compliance with all airport safety regulations, emergency procedures, and security protocols at all times.
