The hotel emphasizes personalized service, teamwork, responsible tourism, and cultural preservation to create warm, authentic, and comfortable stays.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Housekeeping Attendant role based at Hotel Dachi in Bhaktapur. The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to high hygiene and safety standards. Daily tasks include making beds, replenishing linens and amenities, dusting and vacuuming, managing laundry items, and reporting maintenance issues. The role involves preparing rooms for guest arrivals, ensuring rooms meet brand and heritage presentation standards, and responding promptly to guest housekeeping requests. The Housekeeping Attendant works closely with the front office and other departments, supports team members during busy periods, and follows hotel procedures for sustainability and safe handling of cleaning products.Qualifications Ability to perform housekeeping and laundry tasks efficiently, including cleaning, linen handling, and basic garment care.Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond clearly and politely to guest requests.Customer service mindset, with a focus on courtesy, discretion, and creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.Organization skills to manage cleaning schedules, prioritize tasks, maintain supplies, and ensure rooms are prepared on time.Willingness to participate in training, follow standard operating procedures, and learn hotel safety and hygiene guidelines.Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move housekeeping equipment, and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is an advantage but not mandatory; on-the-job training may be provided.Basic literacy and numeracy, attention to detail, and commitment
