Applicants can expect to join an organization that values clinical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.Role Description The Housekeeping Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Pun Hlaing Hospitals in Yangon. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations to ensure that all patient rooms, clinical areas, public spaces, and staff facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained in line with hospital standards and infection control requirements. Responsibilities include supervising housekeeping staff, planning work schedules, coordinating laundry services, managing inventory of cleaning materials and linen, and monitoring quality and hygiene compliance. The Housekeeping Manager handles staff hiring, training, and performance reviews, and works closely with nursing, facilities, and customer service teams to respond promptly to patient and visitor needs. The role also involves updating procedures, resolving operational issues, and supporting continuous improvement to enhance patient and visitor experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance management, and delegation in a hospitality or healthcare setting.Candidates should possess Laundry operations knowledge, including handling hospital linen, coordinating washing and sterilization processes, and maintaining quality standards.Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and maintaining a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to coordinate with clinical and non-clinical departments.Candidates should possess Hiring experience, including interviewing, onboarding, and supporting training and development of housekeeping staff.Relevant experience as a Housekeeping Manager or senior housekeeping supervisor, preferably in a hospital or large healthcare facility.Knowledge of infection control, health and safety standards, and hospital cleaning protocols.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to procedures.Ability to work flexible hours when required and manage operations in a fast-paced environment.Diploma or degree in hospitality management, facilities
