Job SummaryResponsible for all housekeeping staff members assigned in his/her shift to ensure the cleanliness of entire Riyadh Care and Housing premises following the approved policies and procedures, established based on international standardsMajor Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsures through his actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at the NMC Hospitals and Clinics.Ensures the cleaning and decontamination processes are maintained following the approved procedures.To conduct continue checking of all areas of responsibilities ensuring that no area is missed for cleaning.To provide in-service training to all newly hired housekeeping staff for the proper procedures and techniques of cleaning.To assist in making the monthly schedule and arrange the shifting procedures to ensure that no area under the responsibilities is left unattended.To assist in giving continuing education thru monthly in-service for all housekeeping staff members to update them to the changes in technology and the latest advance cleaning procedures based on international standards.To assist in implementing established duration of cleaning schedule for non-routine housekeeping tasks (i.e. scrubbing, stripping, polishing, wall washing, window pavement cleaning, carpet shampooing, etc.)To assist in educating housekeeping staff for the necessary precautions while performing their duties.To coordinate with the housekeeping store keeper to ensure the continued supply of housekeeping chemicals and cleaning materials.To check all housekeeping electrical equipment and to coordinate with the maintenance department for any defective unit to ensure the safety of the housekeepers.To recommend to the Manager of General Services to make reprimands and warning letters to the hard-headed housekeeping staff and to implement disciplinary actions.To conduct periodic quality improvement checks in all areas.To perform other applicable tasks and duties within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.To report to the Manager of General Services any incident incurred in his/her shift.Performs additional tasks and duties as assigned by Superiors.Reporting toManager General ServicesSupervisesHousekeeping Assistant Supervisors (Group Leaders)HousekeepersQualifications:A minimum of:College Graduate on any Course is requiredCertificate of Training in any Hospital Institution for related Job is desirableAbility to communicate in English and in Arabic languagesComputer literacy excellent in Microsoft Office & Power Point softwareGood and strong leadership abilityAble to work under pressureExperience:A minimum of:Five (5) years’ experience of Supervisory jobs for not less than fifty (50) personnel is required.Experience in hospital housekeeping
