Housekeeping Supervisor

Job briefWe are looking for Housekeeping and Cleaning Supervisors to lead teams of housekeeping and cleaning agents and ensure we provide excellent customer service.Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members and checking private and public areas for tidiness. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities.Ultimately, you will help ensure our daily housekeeping/cleaning operations run smoothly and that guests are satisfied.ResponsibilitiesTrain housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasksOversee staff on a daily basisCheck all cleaned areas Make sure that cleaning schedule is implemented properly for related locationSchedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absenceEstablish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standardsMotivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the jobRespond to customer complaints and special requestsMonitor and replenish cleaning products stockParticipate in large cleaning projects as requiredEnsure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areasRequirementsWork experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar roleHands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizationsAbility to use industrial cleaning equipment and productsExcellent organizational and team management skillsStamina to handle the physical demands of the jobFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekendsHigh school diploma is a plus
