HR Assistant / HR Administrative / HR Support Officer

Role Description The Director at GDG On Campus – Future Academy is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for leading the overall vision, strategy, and operations of the community. This role involves planning and overseeing technical and non-technical programs, including workshops, events, hackathons, and project initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and GDG guidelines. The Director will coordinate and mentor cross-functional teams of students (tech, HR, PR, media, content, and operations), foster collaboration, and promote an inclusive and growth-oriented environment. Day-to-day tasks include setting objectives, managing timelines and resources, building partnerships with industry professionals and mentors, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. The Director will also represent the community in external engagements, track impact metrics, and continuously improve processes to enhance member experience and outcomes.QualificationsLeadership and management skills, including team coordination, mentoring, and strategic planning.Experience organizing events, workshops, or community programs, with strong project and time management abilities.Background or strong interest in technology fields such as software development, AI, cybersecurity, web or mobile development, or cloud computing.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse student and professional audiences.Experience or familiarity with community building, stakeholder management, and partnership development.Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, student-centered environment.Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.Prior involvement in student communities, tech clubs, GDG activities, or similar organizations is an advantage.
