Role Description The Director will provide strategic leadership and overall management of Living Seed Secondary School, ensuring that academic, administrative, and operational activities support the school’s mission and standards. This full-time, on-site role based in Lagos includes overseeing curriculum implementation, supervising academic and non-academic staff, and maintaining a safe, positive learning environment for students. The Director will manage budgeting and resource allocation, coordinate admissions processes, and ensure compliance with relevant education regulations and policies. Daily responsibilities also include engaging with parents and guardians, fostering effective communication across the school community, monitoring performance metrics, and driving initiatives for school improvement and staff development.QualificationsProven leadership and management skills in an educational or related institution, including team supervision, strategic planning, and decision-making.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders.Experience in school administration, including policy implementation, compliance with regulatory bodies, and oversight of academic programs.Competence in budgeting, financial management, and resource planning to support sustainable school operations.Ability to design and support staff development, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Relevant academic qualification, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is an advantage.Familiarity with secondary school curricula, assessment standards, and student welfare and safeguarding practices.Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory educational practices.Comfort with basic digital tools and school management systems for reporting, communication, and record-keeping.
